Treap.ai ("Treap," "we," "us") is currently in private beta. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site or request beta access, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email hello@treap.ai.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request beta access or ask to become a design partner, we collect the details you submit: your work email, team size, main stack, and whether you are interested in being a design partner. If you email us, we keep that correspondence.
Information collected automatically. To understand how the site is used and to handle your request, we collect basic product analytics (such as pages and sections viewed and time on page), referral and campaign parameters, and limited technical data added when you submit the form, including your IP address and the approximate location (country or region) derived from it.
How we use your information
We use the information to:
• contact you about private-beta access and onboarding, and send you product updates you asked for;
• understand demand and prioritize what we build;
• operate, secure, and improve the site;
• comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to train a shared model.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run Treap, under agreements that limit their use of it:
• Cloudflare — hosting and storage of your beta-access submission;
• Resend — delivering email to and from us;
• PostHog — product analytics.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Analytics and cookies
We use PostHog for product analytics, which may set cookies or use similar local storage to measure how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Data retention
We keep beta-access information for as long as you are on the list and we are operating the beta, and as needed for the purposes above. We delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, or sooner on request.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing hello@treap.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we will honor them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep what you share with us safe.
International users
We operate from, and store data with providers in, jurisdictions that may differ from yours. By using the site you understand your information may be processed in those locations.
Children
The site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Treap evolves. When we do, we will revise the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to people on the beta list.
